raising the earl gray iced tea back to his lips, levi tried to watch the people of carmel mill around aimlessly and window shop while looking around his cup. it was a hard thing to do, especially when the cup was gigantic, much like this one. licking his lips and rubbing his eyes at the same time, he couldn't stop the huge grin from crossing his features. carmel, long time no see. and how in the name of hell, we wonder, did poor levi oliver ramsey's parents find out about his little addiction to that white stuff you snort up your nose? well, maybe if carmel university's janitor hadn't of seen him snorting coke, levi would still be high as a kite and dumber than that chair out front that restaurant. yep, four thousand dollar rehab visit for that charming ramsey boy everyone loves— except for the male and lesbian teachers, but those don't count, do they? to levi, a teacher's opinion didn't really matter. he was brilliant, along with the rest of the carmel university students. plus, it wasn't like he hadn't slept with that one twenty something year old teacher...
tossing the now empty cup into that thing that's so commonly neglected called a trashcan— or wastebasket, if your so polite— levi continued his march down carmel's main road, avoiding tourists, homeless people, and doctor's wives blowing money. shaking his shaggy hair that was in desperate need of a haircut and black hair dye, our favorite superpopular emo looking kid couldn't keep his mind off that one person you call true love. edie. she was perfection in human form, brilliant, and still out of town visiting her ancient/dying aunt caroline. four months with no sex and no edie, who would have thought it possible? kicking at the ground with the toe of his deformed and alien looking converse shoe, an uber small chihuahua yapped at levi from a blonde's purse. glaring at the dog, levi added that to his ongoing list of why he hated small dogs. they yapped, they rode around in women's purses, they thought they were huge, etc. oh yeah! they were ugly! but it's not like he'd ever tell a girl that. if she wanted one, she could most certainly get a yorkie or a chihuahua... after levi slept with her and dumped her.
since levi had completely failed to dye his hair while at rehab, though they let him get it cut, it had long since grown out. now it sort of looked like this mini-mullet thing, plus it was back to natural brown. oh joy. blinking in an attempt to avoid the blazing sun, he tugged nervously at his jacket's sleeve. sucking in a huge breath, he suddenly felt lost in his own town. biting his lower lip, he had no cue what to do. he didn't want to go home, that was for sure, and he certainly didn't want to go hit on some girls, he already had one. did i mention he thought she was walking perfection? maybe the only thing left for him to do was go to his dorm and laze around since most of his friends had abandoned him when he got thrown in rehab. it was quite embarrassing, not just for him, but for the people to know that one of the most known and classy college kids was a stoner. once again, he was back to chewing on his lower lip, standing there like an idiot with nothing to do.

Being all for wandering about places, especially being fairly new to this area she was of course wandering around the street, her blue green eyes scanning the crowds of people. Normally winter didn’t very much like when there was a bunch of people around but for once she actually craved to have someone to talk to. Which was odd. Winter was definitely ore of a person who would be by herself for most of the time fine with just writing, doing school work or taking pictures but there were odd times when she would rather be with people. Yet very rarely would she actually go do so unless she accidentally ran into one of her friends. Winter was just a very independent person. She didn’t like getting help from anyone at all. It just wasn’t what she did. Though she was raised to be a very straight forward and independent person so she didn’t exactly go and do the opposite of it. Especially when she always had trouble making friends. Even being here for just over half a year she didn’t have many friends. Actually she was very limited friend wise but she opened up to a lot of them a lot better then she would have if she had met them back home in Ireland. She had bought a lemonade a little earlier and she held the water bottle looking lemonade bottle in her one hand taking a small sip from it. It wasn’t a particularly hot day so it wasn’t too bad, actually there was a slight breeze in the air which did cause her to shiver ever so slightly. Actually winter would have preferred to have gotten some sort of tea but she hadn’t felt like carrying it around. She also got incredible weird looks when she ran into people she knew and after stealing her tea and realizing it was black they honestly wondered how she drank it. With winter being lactose intolerant and everything she didn’t exactly have a choice about the milk thing and sugar she just found it didn’t do all that much to add to the tea And of course there were some teas that she didn’t like but she wasn’t very picky when it came to the type of tea she drank. Biting down on her lower lip slightly she brushed back a few strands of her bright red hair that had fallen in her face. She having chosen to straighten it today, it laid down perfectly against her back going down just past her shoulders. All in all winter actually loved her hair and the color of it, the only thing she didn’t like about it was that it came from the looks of her actual mother who she had grown to hate over the years as she had given her up just so she could go live wild and do drugs and drink Winter didn’t think that was right at all, then she didn’t know her mother either. Being left at birth with her adoptive parents, she didn’t know much else about her parents other then the hate that she had and knowing simply that she was a mistake on this earth. Yet she didn’t have that letting her down either, she actually strived to change that so that she would do some good in the world. Today she wore something rather warmer since it was one of the few cool days here, a pair of black pants, a black dress that went down just past her ass so for her the pants were required and a spring jacket that buttoned up, black of course that was about the length of her dress. Oh and of course you cant forget the black and whiter striped scarf. Actually on most occasions she didn’t go anywhere without her scarf. And she had on her goggles made especially for her by one of her boyfriends back in Ireland and she still treasured them which were on top of her head. Winter actually did have quite the different way of dressing compared to everyone else and she wore quite a bit of black, which made her look like some sort of porcelain doll with fiery red hair. Winter was incredibly pale so it was to be expected but with the slight pink blusher she wore today and the dark eye shadow, almost black she really did look amazing and snug and warm. Winter believed though that she had something wrong with her circulation or something because really it wasn’t that cold but she felt quite cold just at the moment. She just wore a lot of layers most of the time. There was very rare occasions in which she actually did feel hot. Very odd occasions indeed. Humming to herself she walked along the side walk, well more like did little hops as she waited for someone to come by she recognized. God she was bored and she wanted something to do. Which was exactly the point in which she spotted levi. She couldn’t help but feel both embarrassed to be seen the way she was, even though stunning all the same, and excited at the same time. She hadn’t seen him for four months, it had been like she got here, been hanging around a lot with him for four months, and then he just was gone, to rehab which in a way she was glad he had to go to. Winter wasn’t a big fan of the whole drugs ordeal but she still had wrote him and stuff. She wasn’t one to abandon her friends easily. They actually had dated for a time. She had met him one summer about three years ago when he had came to Ireland, they dated, broke it off because he had to return home but still winter knew she had lingering feelings still there. She just couldn’t express them, which was a first. She actually had been the one to put it bluntly that she had liked him before she just didn’t know why she couldn’t do that again. Giggling quietly she covered her mouth with her one hand and skipped towards him jumping up on his back ‘miner’s said with a grin kissing his cheek ‘your mine for the day lovie whether you like it or not. Sound okay? I think we need a movie night, and a sleepover at my place’ she told him with a nod feeling no tension asking him this. They had sleep overs before, just it had been when they had been Dating or neither of them had been dating anyone and they could fool around. Now it was a different story but she never thought of the fact that levi had a girlfriend ‘huzzah I finally found someone to make my day go by quicker’ she exclaimed jumping down lightly from his back. She was a little strange, but still the smile she gave levi was radiant and he was one of the few who got to see it all the time. completely forgetting everything while checking out this girl's ass that was in front of him, levi was about to pull up a chair and talk to her (even though he had a girlfriend) and strike up a conversation when a rather large object latched onto his back and kissed his cheek. squeaking, yes, squeaking, and falling on his ass, levi looked up at the person that had done this horrific and terrifying thing to him. the first thing he noticed was the vibrant red hair and then... winter! scrambling to his feet and dusting the seat of his jeans off, he fake glared at her and pouted. you also found someone's tailbone to break. that didn't exactly make sense, but that was okay, she would understand. grabbing his beanie that had fallen off his chestnut brown hair and readjusting it just right on top of his "adorable little head". but anyways, levi couldn't hold off his smile anymore. finally deciding to let the world bask in his one thousand watt smile, he grabbed winter by the waist and spun her around. sleepover and carrie, hell yes!
carrie was levi's favorite move, mainly because it was really the only movie from stephen king that he found good. letting winter go, he pulled her into one of his famous levi ramsey hugs which were only famous because he hugged everyone. i missed you. he mumbled into her fiery hair, breathing in that smell he missed. weird, but levi really did like the smell of winter, it was one of his many OCD quirks. you wouldn't find him saying this, though. hearing his stomach growl, levi released winter and stared at it. but first, we eat. he nodded as if to affirm this before grabbing winter by her arm and pulling her down onto one of the many handy chairs in front of a restaurant. that's what's so great about carmel, there's always somewhere to eat right in front of you! plus you can bring your dogs....
dogs... zombie! the golden retriever pup that levi put edie in charge of. after edie went to go visit that dying aunt of hers, she put winter in charge of her. zombie was like levi's baby, he let her do anything she wanted to except shit and piss in the house. he knew this irked everyone that his dog with constantly with him, namely people close to him. but how could you be mad at an adorable golden retriever puppy? winterness, where is zombie? he asked, looking at the nearest waitress that was eyeing him, praying that she'd come over and take their orders already.
drumming his fingers against the table and impatiently awaiting a waitress to come and take their order, levi watched winter carefully. she was still pale, still completely gorgeous, the list goes on. you're still the same. he whined, hoping that something exciting would have happened while he was away... as if that wasn't exciting enough.
